These Terms & Conditions govern the use and purchase of MAZIVILLA personal travel assistance services. MAZIVILLA is operated by Rosa Mazivila and provides personalised travel planning and assistance related to stays in Portugal. Its service is personal assistance; MAZIVILLA does not sell pre-made travel packages.

1. Service Provider

MAZIVILLA
Operated by: Rosa Mazivila
NIF: 300112610
Address: Rua Moçambique 55, 71, 4430-145 Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto, Portugal
Email: hello@mazivilla.com

In these Terms, “MAZIVILLA”, “we” and “our” refer to the assistance service operated by Rosa Mazivila. “You” and “client” refer to the person requesting or purchasing that service.

2. Scope of Services

Depending on the service or plan selected, assistance may cover personalised travel planning, accommodation and restaurant research, dining recommendations, experiences and activity research, transport and mobility planning, long-stay assistance, practical arrival arrangements, local assistance and special requests. It may also include coordinating relevant information and helping you communicate with third-party providers.

The exact scope is determined by the selected service, its description on the current Pricing page and the arrangements agreed for your request. These examples do not add inclusions to a plan or promise unlimited assistance. Any additional work and its price must be agreed before it is provided.

3. Personalised Recommendations

Our research and recommendations are based on the information you provide, including your dates, destination, budget, preferences, interests, dietary requirements, group composition and practical needs. Please tell us promptly about relevant changes so that we can assess their effect on the assistance requested.

We research options to support informed choices. A recommendation is not a guarantee that an external service will remain available, meet every preference or be suitable for circumstances that have not been communicated to us.

4. Independent Third-Party Providers

Accommodation providers, restaurants, transport companies, experience providers, attractions and other external businesses are independent third parties. MAZIVILLA does not own or operate those businesses and is not the contracting provider of their services.

Their prices, availability, terms, cancellation policies, rules and delivery of services remain their responsibility. Please review the relevant provider’s information before committing to a booking or purchase. Our responsibility for our own assistance remains as described in section 11.

5. Bookings and Reservations

MAZIVILLA may research options, recommend suitable providers, supply booking links or contact details, assist you through a booking process and help coordinate information. Where appropriate and requested, we may also assist with arranging a reservation.

You remain responsible for reviewing and accepting the provider’s terms and paying that provider directly. Assistance with a reservation does not make MAZIVILLA the supplier of accommodation, transport, dining, tours or other external services.

6. Service Fees and Third-Party Costs

Prices displayed for MAZIVILLA plans relate to our own personal travel assistance services. The current Pricing page and the price communicated for the selected service should be read together with these Terms. Please clarify any uncertainty before purchasing.

MAZIVILLA service fees are separate from third-party costs, such as accommodation, restaurant bills, tickets, transport, car hire, experiences, activities, groceries, products and events. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, you pay those costs separately and directly to the relevant provider. A MAZIVILLA plan price does not imply that these external costs are included.

7. Payment for MAZIVILLA Services

Payment conditions are those displayed or communicated when you purchase the selected service. The applicable service fee and payment arrangements should be clear before you commit. Please contact us if you need clarification about the payment conditions for your request.

8. Withdrawal and Cancellation

Consumers purchasing services at a distance may have a statutory right of withdrawal under Portuguese and EU consumer law. Where applicable, you may withdraw within 14 calendar days of the service contract’s conclusion, without giving a reason. Notify us of your clear decision by email or post using the details in section 1 before the period expires.

Starting paid work during that period requires the express request and acknowledgement required by law. Starting work does not by itself remove the withdrawal right. Following a valid early-start request, a proportionate amount for work actually performed before withdrawal may be payable only where legally permitted. The right is lost after full performance only when the required prior express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained. Statutory reimbursement rights remain unaffected.

For other cancellation or change requests, contact us so that the applicable agreed conditions and mandatory rights can be considered. Third-party bookings have their own cancellation conditions.

9. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate, relevant information and reviewing proposed arrangements before accepting them. You remain responsible for passports, visas, immigration requirements, travel documents, insurance, medical requirements and compliance with third-party terms. MAZIVILLA does not provide legal, immigration, financial or medical advice. Obtain appropriate advice from the relevant authority or qualified professional where needed.

10. Availability and Changes

Recommendations reflect information available when researched. Accommodation, restaurant reservations, experiences and other options may become unavailable, and external prices may change. MAZIVILLA cannot guarantee availability or unchanged third-party prices. Third-party cancellations, delays and changes are subject to the relevant provider’s conditions. Where included in your selected service, we may assist with communication or researching alternatives.

11. Responsibility

MAZIVILLA is responsible for providing its own agreed assistance with reasonable care. We cannot control the decisions or actions of independent third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or restricts your mandatory consumer rights and remedies.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled in connection with the website and our services. Please read it before supplying personal information, including information about other travellers.

13. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

For questions or complaints, contact hello@mazivilla.com. You may also access the official Portuguese platform through Complaints Book — Livro de Reclamações. Consumer dispute-resolution mechanisms remain available where applicable under Portuguese law. Nothing here prevents you from using an applicable consumer protection body or seeking a legal remedy.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections applicable under the law, including protections of their country of habitual residence where legally applicable, or restrict the competent courts available to them under mandatory rules.
